How to get there
Kingfisher Bay has 6 return catamaran services to the resort each day from Urangan Boat Harbour in Hervey Bay. A vehicle barge runs 3 times a day from River Heads. Coach transfers are available from Hervey Bay Airport and the Coach Terminal to Kingfisher Bay reception at Urangan Boat Harbour. Please book catamaran, barge, airport and coach terminal transfers with reservations.

By Car to Urangan Boat Harbour
From Brisbane 3½ hours. Travel north on the Bruce Highway to Maryborough then follow the signs to Hervey Bay. Stay on the main road, which becomes Boat Harbour Drive. Follow the signs to Urangan Boat Harbour. Please allow plenty of time for slow traffic and finding a carpark spot.
From the North and Bundaberg
Follow the Bruce Highway south. Turn off at Torbanlea following signs to Hervey Bay. Bundaberg to Hervey Bay 1½ hours.
Secure Parking
Great Sandy Straits secure, uncovered car parking is located on the left as you enter the Urangan Boat Harbour public car park.We suggest you drive directly to the Tourist Terminal to off-load luggage at Kingfisher Bay reception then return to the car park. By 4WD to River Heads Vehicle Barge Ramp
Travel north on the Bruce Highway to Maryborough then follow the signs to Hervey Bay. About 10 minutes north of Maryborough turn right to River Heads. The road is well sign posted and the road runs into the Kingfisher vehicle barge car park.
